Since ART Arena was incepted in 2003, we’ve been growing up from our voyage with Nehru Centre Culture wing to Commercial Theatre productions and now even to Commercial Feature Films. Following are just few highlights of our many completed projects.
URVASHI - A TALE OF BEAUTY ...LEGEND OF LOVE
A larger than life production to attract the gen next and global audiences. It is adapted from the classical play Vikramorvasiyam, written by the renowned Sanskrit playwright Kalidasa.
CINEMA ON STAGE EXPERIENCE : A brilliant blend of classical and contemporary dance forms seamlessly merged with folk, ballet and Kallaripayatu moves, casts a magical spell over the audience. A voyage in mythology through delightful musical compositions and songs exclusively created for Urvashi which is the soul of the show, appeals to the masses as well as the classes. The High Octave EXTRAVAGANZA is a visual treat with Creative Sets, Props, Lights and LED projections designed specially for the production.
SHRIRANGA
Choreographed and performed by Pavitra Bhatt; the pure Bharatnatyam classical production is a description of the grandeur of Vishnu in the reclining form.
The devotee urges to seek a glimpse of Shri Ranga and hence starts his journey from Kaveri river to the’ Garuda’ and from the Dhwaja Sthamba till the Ranganayaki and finally surrenders before of the King of Rangapura Shree Ranganatha. He merges with the lord and becomes one with HIM. This production mainly emphasizes on the most ancient 4000 Divya Prabandhams, which form the link between some main songs in praise of the Lord. It also emphasizes on the elements of bhakti to the Lord and touches chapters like Kshetram , Thirtham , Mandiram , Pravesham , Darshanam , Anubhavam and utsavam.
Its showcase the small stories relating to Shri Ranganatha and brings out the origin and formation of the Shri Rangam temple.
TAMASHA LIVE
Tamasha Live is the story of the film that follows the drama and deception that unfolds behind the scenes of news and journalism.
“Tamasha Live” directed by Sanjay Jadhav, is the first-ever Marathi musical with a soul-gripping plot of around 20 songs merged with its inspiring story of two warring journalists and the subsequent events that follow which will lead the audiences to the truth and introspect them to understand the current scenario of Journalism.

Pallavi Gurjar : Founder of Artarena started this firm in 2003 .
Pallavi Gurjar is a professional in the arena of theater, events and films .
She is a Founder Director of Artarena .... a company rendering professional, creative and technical services and consultancy to the Entertainment Industry.
Being a graduate in English Literature and Psychology; she had completed her theater training with National School of Drama and since then consistently working on the creative and management level for numerous projects.
She had an opportunity of being working with various talented personalities as a function of respective project and have been travelling extensively across the country and to Dubai, Singapore, USA, etc. on duty.
Currently, she have been involved in creative designing and managing various Promotional Events for various organisations and institutions , Concerts, Cultural art Festivals, Dance Ballet Productions for various classical and contemporary dancers and Commercial Drama productions for Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik, Lillete Dubey and have worked as Assistant Director to Feroz Abbas Khan.
She has been working as Visual and Graphic Designer for Hema Malini’s mega ballet productions of Mahalaxmi, Durga, Yashoda Krishna, Radha-Raasbihari, etc . She have also designed visuals for Mantra Vision, Rekha Chaudhary, Shoma Kaikini, Vidya Shriram, Rachana Sarang, Sheila Mehta, Sandeep Sparker,etc and various Nehru Center productions.
She had an experience of being the Course – Incharge of the Nehru Centre’s Diploma course titled “Natyadisha” for three years . She is being called upon by various Institutions for the Audio-Vision demo series on various topics of theater.
She conducts theatre workshops and productions for children which had been supported by Children Theatre wing of NSD and has been collaborated with Times Foundation.
